Cisco 1200 Access PointAccess Point

The ScanIt Parts® scanning system uses the Cisco Aironet 1200 Series Access Point to communicate between the scanner and the server through a wireless connection. This access point is not weather tolerable and needs to be located inside the building. The antenna can be placed up to 15 feet from the access point and will provide a 360-degree reception capability. Additionally, the radio frequency signal produces a maximum line of sight up to 1000 feet; however, the signal needs to pass uninterrupted. Distance could be reduced by a building consisting of steel, brick or concrete.
