Install Client version of the ScanIt Parts software on other computers

  • The server version will continue to be on a designated PC, usually in your warehouse. 
  • Having ScanIt Parts on various PC will allow you utilize all the jobs & reports of the software.

  • For parts on medium & bulk shelving, you should have the adhesive label attached to a magnetic tag. This will allow you easily move the label if you choose to relocate the part. Also eliminates you from having to scrape off old labels. (see the Uline product, you want the 1”x 3” magnetic tape)
  • You would follow the same steps if you have older standard 1’ x 3’ binning
  • For high-density & smaller bins you should adhere the label on to the divider or another type of bin tag holder

  • Take the time to use them. You’re much more likely to use them with the ScanIt Parts software on your PC!
